centimeters vs inches

I just reinstalled PowerPoint and it came up with dimensions in centimeters,
old fashioned me how can I change dimensions back to inches?

This is not controlled by PowerPoint. PowerPoint just uses whatever the
system has been set to use.

Check under
Start | Settings ...| Control Panel | Regional Settings | Number (tab) |
Measurement System
It should be US, not metric.
