Power point: changing the ruler measurement from inches to CM

How do I change the measurement from inches to Centimeters in Powerpoint 2002?

You will need to change the regional settings in Windows control panel. Close
powerpoint:

Control Panel > Regional & Language Options > Regional Options > Customize

Change the measurement option to metric > Apply and OK out

Hi Wilson,

Thank you very much. I was scratching my head for few days and almost
starting to kick the cans around here..

All the programs that I know of has the option in the program itself and
was going through the help section and internet to find out. You really
helped me from further debacle.

MS Word has the option to change it, I wonder why MS didn't program the
Powerpoint with that option though.
