CDRW

I just upgraded a Windows 2000 Professional computer to Windows XP
Professional. The computer contains a CDRW drive. After the upgrade, this
drive cannot be accessed through Windows Explorer. Attempting to access the
drive causes explorer.exe to stop responding. How should I isolate the cause
of this problem?

You could try rt clicking MyComputer>select Properties>Hardware>Device
Manager>Dvd/Cdrom Drives>Expand and
rt click on your CDRW drive and choose Uninstall. Restart and let XP
reinstall it.
