CDRW DVD rom

I have a cdrw dvdrom in my machine and then I installed a
Sony DVD writer and now the cdrw DVDrom does not read
DVD's, but it reads cd's. How do I fix this. I tried
the cdrom gone reg fix and it didn't do anything.

How did you hook up the new drive? Rt click on MyComp>select
Prop>Hardware>Device Manager>ATA/
ATAPI IDE Controllers. rt click on both Primary and Secondary and select
DMA for all.
