cdrw drive and dvd drive

hey,, my comp wont recognize my cdrw or dvd drive...... i went to my device
manager and for both drives it has a yellow ! sign over it.....what do i
do...i got a code 19 error on one of them

First of all, try going to the drives' manufacturers' sites and
download/install the latest drivers. Then reboot the computer. If that
doesn't work then reinstalling would be a better option. If THAT doesn't
work its possible that theres a hardware problem, check all connections from
the drives to the computer and make sure they're not loose.

i am having a similar problem .... only the code i get is code41 ... will
not recognize either drives i have installed .. dvd drive and dvddual drive
(dvd/cd w)
i have uninstalled and let windows find when I rebooted ... it did .. but
still get the error coed and the yellow exclamation .... these drives were
working fine til now ...
any help would be appreciated
