.CDA confusion

My CD that I want to put into my ipod shows the tracks as .CDA type files.
How can I change them into a format the the ipod will accept? TIA, Pail

Rip them off the as mp3 files (Audio Grabber will do the job nicely) then
transfer them to your iPod using iTunes.
