My CD that I want to put into my ipod shows the tracks as .CDA type files.
How can I change them into a format that the ipod will accept? TIA, Pail
(Yes, I did put this in the music newsgroup, with no results)

iTunes does that simply.

Are you using it?

Have you looked at the iTunes help?

Have you looked at the Apple iPod/iTunes Web site?

Have you looked in the USENET newsgroup rec.media.players.portable.ipod?

If that is not your answer....try Ripping the
CD with MP3 as the target format...then
try uploading the MP3 files to the iPod.

you can't change .CDA files to a different format, they are merely pointers
to the sound file, you need proper software to read the music files to rip
them from the cd to your pc, ie Itunes.
