cd writing accross platforms

When I burn a cd in windows xp with cd writing
wizard...the disk is not readable in apple computers.
How can I write to disk for all platforms?
 
1st...get some good burning software...like Nero, etc..
2nd...ya' prob can't do what you wish to...
3rd...the Mac peeps aren't into that stuff...they're the creative , stoned
types....
