CD Slide Show

I am looking for a "free" CD slide show program. This is a program that is
burned along with photos on a CD and starts automatically to present a slide
show. My photo library has multiple folders for different events which I
want to select from a menu to show. I have tried using Picasa2 to burn a
gift CD but the index page shows overlapping sample photos from each folder.
When there are many folders some are hidden and can't be accessed. I would
like text only or much smaller displayed photos on the index.

The program looks interesting but it creates WMV files rather than retaining
the actual jpgs. I'm also not sure if it can handle separate albums. I
decided to use the "Slide Show Wizard Powertoy". It creates HTML and retains
the JPGs. It does create separate pages for each album but I created a
higher level page to incorporate all the separate albums. I then added auto
start files and burned it all to a CD. It now auto starts and uses the web
browser to present the slide show.

Dennis, click on the link below and download photoplayer from Unidreamtech.
Check the help files for creating an autoplaying slideshow, it's very simple
and best of all is free.

IrfranView will allow you to save the slide show as an exe/scr. Might
be of limited use since many anti virus programs block exe's. It
is free and has a number of other useful tools.
