I cannot copy files onto the CD-RW drive, it plays audio
but when wanting to copy files onto a clean disc the
message comes up that there is no disk in the drive (when
there is). Can anyone help!! -it's a Medion running with
windows XP Home Edition.

You verified that recording is enabled?
In Windows Explorer, right-click the CD drive letter, click PROPERTIES,
then the RECORD tab.
