CD/RW Firmware Flash

Could anyone tell me the proper steps to take to flash the
firmware on an Artec 48-10-48 CD/RW? I believe i need to
flash after booting from floppy, but i have xp pro and am
unsure of the steps to do this safely.I have downloaded
the firmware upgrade, and also the xp boot disks but have
yet to install on floppies. Any help would be much
apprciated. Thanks
