CD-RW conflict

I have Sony PCV-RX550(UC) computer and I'm having trouble with the cd-rw
drive. I have trouble with it dissapearing. My CPU usuage surges up and
down and computer is jerky and after this runs sometime the drive disapears
after I reboot.

Try the automated script first.
