CD-Rom Problems

Hi folks,
Recently my cd-rom drives have gone a little screwy.
They're no longer visible as drives and in device manager
they both have errors - both say "Windows cannot start
this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.
(Code 19)" Any suggestions? I've tried re-installing
the drivers and I just ran a virus scan.
Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick,

I had a similar problem (not exactly the same but similar). See the thread
from yesterday titled "CD and DVD drives not seen by XP". The answer from
Jason helped me.
