CD Rom problems.

I just installed WindowsXP prof....and my cd rom wont
read my CDR's, but it will read all other cds. What
could be the deal?

Help yourself here a little and let us know what application wrote them and
what os was running.

Hi Josh,

I'm guessing that the CDR's were written with UDF software. WinXP's ability
to read UDF is limited, you may need to install CD burning software that
supports it (the native burning program does not).

The discs were probably not finalized when written to.
