cd rom problem

help my cd rom has got a mind of its own it opens and close quite alot cant
open the drive with button amd im running xp home
 
Wow! I have the same problem which I just posted today (See the one titled
"CD-ROM Automatically Opens and Closes". This is a weird problem.
Hopefully one of us will get an answer soon to share with the other.
