Hello,
I have a problem with a Packard Bell iExtreme with
WindowsXP pre-installed. When booting it now keeps re-
detecting my CDRW and asks for the drivers. The drivers
can not be found and XP doesn't default the generic
drivers. Instead it continues in a loop until it slows
the PC Down.
I've tried installing different CD/RW all with the same
problem. PB website doesn't carry the drivers having
searched, but why doesn't XP just go with the best
match/generic driver?
Ive tried system restore, but to no avail. I'm assuming
a file is missing or corrupt but what?
The CD/RW was working correctly 6 weeks ago.
