CD ROM Drive will not open

We took the shell off the computer to clean it out and ever since we cannot
get the cd rom drive to open. We have opened it back up and closed it again
and it still will not help. The DVD Drive will open. I tried the paper clip
idea and I can hear it trying to open but it will not. Thanks for any help.

I tried the paper clip again and I can hear something spinning in there but
it will not open.

Turn the PC OFF, THEN use the paper clip. You may need to check that you
didn't disturb the cables connecting the CD to the motherboard. (Make
sure they are correctly seated on boyh ends.)
