cd rom drive partially missing

I can play audio and photo cds but when I try to load new
software it says D:\AdewAutorunCD.exe is missing. The
drive is on a soundcard, Creative SB16 Emulation Drive
Version 4.04.

What software are you trying to load. Does this happen when you insert
the install CD? It may be that whoever produced the CD made an error.
I am going to bet that it should be D:\AutorunCD.exe without the Adew
before it. Simply navigate onto the CD and run the install or setup
instead of using the autorun function.
