CD Rom drive name

After installing a new hard drive and making the whole thing available as drive C, I find my CD Rom drive has now become E rather than D as it used to be. How can I rename my CD drive to D again? I seem to remember an old DOS command called "lastdrive=, but that does not seem to be valid in Windows 2000.

You can do this with 'computer management' >>disk management>> in the right
hand, lower part of the screen, rightclick on the drive you want to change
and choose 'change Drive Letter and Path' >>'edit'>>etcetera.
