CD Recorder Failure?

I am using an Optirite CD recorder that came with my computer. Suddenly, it
thinks every blank disc is a CD-RW, which is not the case. Time for a new
recorder? I've changed blank media 3 times. That does not seem to be the
problem!
 
Check your Optirite CD recorder settings. It is not a very popular
recorder and the Pioneer is recommended, but that is your $$$.
