What type of disk are you using? If it's a blank disk you may have the autoplay
setting to automatically open the burn to disk window.

Open MyComputer and Right click on the drive.
Click the Autoplay tab > Content Type selection box dropdown arrow.
Click on Blank CD.
In the Actions pane scroll down to the bottom of the pane and click "Take no action".
Click Apply.

If you would rather be pestered/prompted each time you insert a blank disk in the
drive:
In the Actions pane, if "Select an action to perform" is selected, unselect it.
Click "Prompt me each time...." at the bottom of the Action pane.
Click Apply.

May as well check the settings for each other Content Type while you're there.
