cd-r can't write to new disks

I have TDK cd-r up to 48 x disks & a 48x cd-writer drive and get message "E:/ is not accessable. Incorrect function." Now what?
 
Greetings,

Is that a Windows error msg, or Nero, or what?

Have you burnt CDs before with this setup?
