cd ok in media player but not explorer

cd/dvd can be player in media player, but in explorer the contents do not
show up. Explorer thinks the cd is blank, but like I said, it plays music and
video in media player. Obviously the cd/dvd is ok and the device are working.
Any solutions to getting it to work in explorer?

If it has music or video on the cd or dvd,then it will only play in WMP.

If I understand you correctly, then I must not have been clear or carefuly
with my words. It should be that you see the contents in either WMP or
Explorer. When you click on it in Explorer, of course WMP will open up and be
the application to play it. The problem is that the contents of the CD can
only be seen in WMP and not Explorer. Any solution?
