i am trying to find out where to locate my cd-key so i can finish downloading
some stuff to my computer. It said that it came with the computer but i have
looked and i cant find any letters or numbers called cd-key?????????

I am not sure,i am trying to download cyberlink power2go on my computer to go
with my power dvd cause somehow it was erased and it said before installing
it needs the product CD-Key and i have looked through all my stuff and i have
no idea what its talking about!!!

You don't have a CD for Cyberlink Power2go DVD software? The Key would
be on the jewel case the CD came in....

No,it somehow is not on my computer so i went to the website and i can
download it there but to install it i need to the cd-kay. Would that happen
to be maybe on the restore cd that came with the computer?

probably - but that would mean returning your machine to the state that
it was when you bought it. Have you though about replacing it with some
freeware?

You should have an installation disk with your computer. That will
re-install the version of PDVD that you had when you got it, which is a
sawn-off, OEM version. You only need the CD key to upgrade it to the full
retail version, which has a few more features. The retail version is what
you have downloaded, which is why it's asking for the key.

If you don't have a PDVD OEM disk, try browsing the restore disk. There may
be a "PDVD" or "Cyberlink" folder.

and install one.
