cd/dvd rom hardware

I cannot seem to burn movies to a disc. Music I have no problems. Help.
 
What application are you using to burn movies. You need some application
that will burn video files (movies).

Typical applications would be NERO, Roxio, Moviefactory etc

I'm using nero, but after it says it's burned, there is nothing on it??
 
Would I need the driver for the new rom drive?
