cd/dvd rom drive

having trouble burning any types of disc..in any program...checked several
things and was wandering ...in system reg.
HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\software\Microsoft\WindowsCurrentVersion\Explorer\CD
Burning....there is no value data...was not sure if there is suppose to be
and if so what? thanks for any info..p.s.name is (CD recorder Drive) ....type
is ...(REG_SZ)
