cd drives show contents of previous cd

I am using WinXP 2nd edition.

I have to CD drives in my system, one a writer and one just a reader.

Often when I look at the contents of a CD using something like MY
COMPUTER, if I take out the CD and put in a different CD, MY COMPUTER
will still show the contents of the previous CD, even if I hit
refresh.

Any ideas of a setting I have screwed up?
