cd drive shows in explorer that does not exist

windows explore shws a CD rom (drive e) that does not exist,
in Vista Ultimate
however its not in device manager or in disk management,
anybody no how to get rid of it

Any chance you installed some CD software that included a virtual CD
function?

yea i use alcohol for 1 virtual drive (y)
never any others, turning it off only removes the y drive as it shoud
be...

i had an older version of powertoys (1.2) that most features worked,
including removeng the drive from explorer, commond prompt here and
add/remove programs...so I'm good to go for know...thanks
