I have SONY CD-RW CRX140E in my computer (WinXP+SP2). Usually it works
properly, but sometimes it quits to open itself. There is no reaction on
pushing button and on click Eject in context menu. And at the same time I
can see contents of the CD in this drive. I can extract the CD by rerun my
computer only. Does somebody know more simply way for this situation?

Thank in advance

Try running My Computer, then right-click your CD drive and click Eject.

Try to open the CD drive by right clicking on the drive and select Eject
from menu.

Mechanical error.
Get it serviced.
Could be dust, worn out belts, wheels etc.
Regards!

Sometimes I have the same niggle. I often wonder if the OS just wants to
"hold on" to the data. Doesnt' happen with all cds, just happens
occasionaly. I dont worry about it.
