cd drive not working

Last week some updates were installed on my computer before I left for the
weekend, when I got back, my cd drive wasnt working. Ive tried to system
restore it back to when it was working, but nothing happened. Can anyone
help? Thanks.

Thanks for the help, but that didnt work. Is there anything else I can try,
or should I just take it somewhere to be repaired?
