CD drive and burner not working need to reinstall Windows XP

I have Windows XP and installed a CD burner but now the CD Drive and the CD
burner don't work. And in the troubleshoot menu it says that my drivers are
not found. Is there a way for me to reinstall XP with the drivers not
working besides downloading to a floppy? I tried this and it didn't work.
