cd disc read error

I have Cendyne 48x16x48 CD-RW drive which is connected as
secondary slave drive. However, after I update to windows
XP SP2, my drive couldn't be abale to read any burned
media although it is working fine for commercial media
(both data and audio CD). I don't have any clue what is
going on here. Any suggestion is welcome. I upgraded
firmware and the problem is still there.
