CD burning

Can anyone tell me where to locate the folder (CD burning)where the files
that are being written to a CD are temporarily kept???? i did a search but
the only that came up were folders in Real Player

This can be changed at registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\Shell Folders

[By default: "C:\Documents And Settings\Administrator\Local Settings
\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning"].

When you press record, XP creates an image of the cd called "CD Burning
Stash File.bin", at the root of c:\. You can change the drive used in
CDROM Properties.

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Error Reporting -> Choose
Programs
-> Do not report errors for these programs:

Acrobat.exe
waol.exe

open My Computer and click on the CD RW drive.
The temp files will be on the top.
