Hi Don....thanks for responding....i'm using the software that came with my
computer...i have a
Sony Vaio pentium4 256 ram...i have an Apex DVD player (not in compute...a
stand-a-lone)
It plays mpeg's mp3, DVD, VCD, and will also show jpegs...my digital
pictures are in jpeg format
and as i said if i burn one folder to the cd the DVD player reads it fine or
if i burn several at the same time it reads it fine burt if i burn one (or
several), eject the CD and then later insert the cd and copy another folder
to it...i get the msg VCD 1.1 PBC OFF.....Gene

ok, now i get it. your problem is when you burn a file to
a cd that already has files on it, the burning program
over writes the table of contents so your player thinks
there is only the last file you burned on the cd.
you will have to do all the files at one session if you
want to use it on a stand alone player.
