Please can someone tell me how why I cannot add files of
any kind to a newly formatted CDR/W Disk in Windows XP?
A message keeps cropping up telling me to insert a
writable disk in the drive when I already have, and says
the disk is not R/W ready, despite being correctly
formatted! The disks are new, and I was able to copy
files using other software, so the drive itself is not at
fault.
The Windows XP 'Help' is useless, and gives no guidance
at all.
This is driving me mad!

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks,
Mark

What software are you using? The built-in XP burning
software doesn't do -RW packet writing.
