CD burner died?

I've had an XP for a year and my CD burner has been working fine until
last night. It won't reconize that theres a disc in my DVD/CD-RW(R)
Drive and when I put a CD R or DVD in, the computer acts like its
trying to scan it, but it dosen't do anything.

try reinstalling software for burner, if you haven't already

Try a CD lens cleaner, and if that doesn't work, get a new unit..
