cd burn icon reappears after reboot

Cd burn icon reappears after each boot saying there are
files or folders to be burned to CD. Have now burned 3
cd's all containing the same folders and pictures, yet
when computer is rebooted the cd burn icon and balloon
reappears! How do I stop this and what is the cause!

In My Computer, open the drive's icon, and there should be a section of
'files waiting to be written to CD'. Highlight them and delete.
