CD backup

Tried to write files to CD rom by wizard which appears to have been
successful but there is no data showing on the CD.

Can anyone help please

Tried to write files to CD rom by wizard which appears to have been
successful but there is no data showing on the CD.

In essence, this is not a Word problem, so you will be better off in a
forum discussing, say, your operating system and/or the tool you use to
write to CD.

That is, unless you tried to write the file directly from Word (Save
As-Dialog), when the answer is: don't do that! Save the file to your
hard disc, then write to CD from there.

I presume the drive was able to write in the first place, and that you
did use a CD-R disc?
