ccTrust.dll

T

Toby Zidle

Whenever I boot my computer, I am getting an error message which says that
ccApp can not be started because ccTrust.dll is missing.

I have downloaded a new ccTrust.dll and uncompressed the file, but still get
the same error message. Obviously the file is not in the folder where
WindowsXP expects to find it. What folder should ccTrust.dll be moved to?

When I OK the 'error' my computer appears to run normally, but IE Explorer
may freeze on opening a new window when 4 or 5 Explorer browser windows are
already open. Is that a consequence of a missing ccTrust.dll file?

What is ccTrust.dll for? What folder does it belong in?

Hi,

You need to reinstall your Norton AV product, both of those files belong to
it. Refer to http://support.symantec.com for additional assistance with
their product.
