Entering categories in Outlook is a pain...i.e. even though I can place the
category column in my layouts, you have to enter the data by hand or double
click on the item (task, calendar, etc) and select from a list of items.
The category field (especially in column view) should be a drop down menu
with all the categories in it and by typing on the keyboard, you
automatically select that specific category.
Generally the category field should be more prominant (and easier to use) in
all the various calendar, email, and task layouts so that it can become much
more useful in segmenting information.
