No mobility support... :(

No X1950 Pro driver updates either. Still using the same drivers the board
came with. At least ccc is getting updated.

I just updated from 7.2 to 7.3 under Vista Home Premium 32 bit and it now
takes a few minutes for the program to start everytime i start Windows....I
uninstalled the last version completely using that program for it, then did
a fresh install and now my system seems slower and often crashes to a
halt...Anybody else experiancing this? I think I might revert back to 7.2
for the meantime.

Did you uninstall, reboot, then reinstall? If not, try it. 7.3 seems
to have made at least one problem go away for me.

I have a Radeon X1300 and a Dell XPS410 with Vista Ultimate 32 bit
preloaded along with 4GB of memory.

Per the release notes and communications with ATI via a ticket I opened
this version resolves the problem I noted in my post dated March 11th
titled "Radeon X1300 Display not visible after HDTV source switch or
power cycle" where I posted "The display works fine when the pc is
powered, however when the TV is powered off and back on or the input
changed on the TV I get not video until the PC is rebooted or the display
cable is disconnected and then reconnected. If I pull the cable and
reattach then the display becomes visible and changes to a smaller screen
size setting and then I have to redefine the screen size."

When I installed version 1.3 and the install rebooted my machine it
bluescreened. The bluescreen rebooted it again and the system came up and
my initial problem was indeed resolved and I could see my display after
turning off the HDTV or changing it's inputs. I thought at that time the
BSOD was just a anomoly but the next time I rebooted my machine it
bluescreened and then rebooted and then bluescreened and the cycle
repeated until I booted into safemode. Once I did a system restore to
before the 1.3 I was then able to boot but was at the old driver with the
old problem. Reinstalling 1.3 from either safe mode or 1.2 result in the
same bluescreen cycle.

I added this to my existing ticket with ATI and part of thier response
was "We have been receiving some reports of BSODs with Catalyst 7.3. We
are currently unaware of the system configuration that causes this
problem and would need your help. Please provide us with the Microsoft
Information System Report and an ATI Problem report."

I'd encourage anyone having this problem to open a ticket with ATI to
narrow this down and I am rapidly nearing the point where I will contact
dell about getting a NVIDIA replacement card.
