Carrying over formatting from my PC to network Word program

I do medical transcription, and on one of my accounts I'm able to type the
report in my own Word program and then copy and paste it into the network's
Word program (reason for doing this is the network runs very slow). On that
account I have no problem with my formatting carrying over. On another
account, however, when I copy and paste, I lose my bolds and indents. I've
tried Paste Special, and that doesn't work either. Can anybody help me figure
this out? Thank you!
