capturing problems

before you ask.....I have tried everything everyone has suggested.....and i
still need more. please know that it is not my camera, my cords, my firewire
card, it is my actual capturing that does not work....no matter what program
i run...pinnacle, adobe premier.....the capture does not work.....Wehn i go
to capture a frame, the image in the capture screen is disotrted....meaning
you can not make out what is on the tape. I belive this is an intrenal
computer problem and do not know how to fix it. Any new suggestions,
please....I really do not want to take this to someone to pay to fix
it.....my lil bro is quite smart...98 % of his time on computers and he is
stummped.....thanks

How do you know it is not the camera? Did you try the camera on another
machine?

Also, I have no idea what you have tried.
