capture video stream problem

I am using RM/WM Recorder to capture video stream. First I play the
video in windows media player or real player, and then I click the
"Record" button in RM/WM Recorder. Everytime when I click the "Record"
button, the windows media player/real player stop playing immediately.
I have no idea what's going on. any ideas?

I just want to capture the video so that I can play again for my
personal use.

This question is in no way related to either of the newsgroups that you have
posted too & would should more properly be directed at Applian Technologies Inc
who sell RM/WM Recorder. However to answer your question that is just the way
the software works if you record a Real media stream then Real player pops up
too.
