Capture Stop Event in Browser

How do I achieve it.I tried using onstop but that seems to get
activated even when I do not click stop or click some button in the web
page.I want to isolate the stop event in browser.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
 
why would you want to isolate the stop event?
If you just want to remove/hide the button and menu options there are policy
settings that will do that for you. See IEAK.
