Capture IR data from remote controls?

I would like to capture the IR data from a few of my remote controls.

To read the IR I have an MCE IR receiver, an ATI USB IR reciever and a Palm
Zire 31.

If I can determine the carrier frequency, the hardware ID and how 1 and 0
are encoded I can generate complete command sets for my devices. I've
already done this on my Hitachi TV, since I was fortunate enough to find
the Pronto codes for some of it's commands.

Is there any software out there that will simply read an IR command and give
me a pronto code, or something similar? Windows, Palm or Linux are all
acceptable to me.

Thanks!

A quick Google led to this:

A few of the entries look promising.

Luck;
