IR Sensor (Receiver) Not Detected in Media Center

I am running Vista Home Premium and have successfully installed my Leadtek
PVR2000 TV capture card. Vista recognizes it. When setting up Media Center,
it will not configure the TV Card every time, posting an error "IR Receiver
Hardware Not Detected". However, the IR Sensor is in fact plugged in to the
TV Card correctly and the TV Card is recognized in Vista. There is no way to
bypass the IR Receiver Not Detected, hardware error and successfully
configure Media Center.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Media Center is the only reason I bought
Vista Home Premium. Does anyone have a solution for setting up my TV Card
and Remote Control? This is not a hardware error. I know I am not the only
one having this problem.

I think you got the wrong version of the 150 card. The version you got comes
with a Hauppauge WinTV remote.
You needed to have gotten the Hauppauge MCE PVR-150 which has an MCE remote
instead of the Hauppauge WinTV remote.
