Word adds a capital letter to each line of text as I type. How do I stop this from occurring?

Hi, vlbpt. Click on Tools | Autocorrect Options | Autocorrect tab | uncheck the box for "Capitalize first letter of sentences".

Note, however, that if Word is capitalizing "each line" then it must be that
it regards each line as the beginning of a sentence. This could be because
it sees it as the beginning of a paragraph because you are pressing Enter at
the end of each line. Don't do that! Press Enter only at the end of a
paragraph. Within the paragraph, let Word wrap the text to the next line.
