My wireless keyboard (RealDigital) has an onscreen button showing whether or
not the locks are on or off. It's annoying and I'd like it to not appear
but I cannot find how turn it off. I've been to Control Panel, nothing to
change in keyboard, nothing in Programs...I don't know where else to go.
I'm guessing it's called something other than RealDigital in its install but
I just don't know. I have it stable so it's always in the same place when I
log in, but I'd really like to not have it there at all. Thanks in advance
for your help.

Contact "RealDigital" - as that MUSt be a function of their software.

Thanks. I'll contact them. On another topic, used to be I'd view messages
in newsgroups with the most current response at the top of the note (not
like below....my question is first, your response comes beneath that). Can
I change it or am I imagining it used to be so? Also, do I have to have the
before each line of text. Can I get rid of that too? Thanks much.

How you view the mesages in a thread depends on your newsreader application
and its settings.
You seem to be using "Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180".
I don't know if you can sort your order in that way and group the messages
in a threaded format.

*If* you meant how you read my individual response - you don't have a
choice. You get to see it in the format I choose to use. =)

As for the greater than symbol in the responses.. Tools --> Options -->
Send --> Newsgroup format.. In that area.

In the OE window, click the header in the Date column. It toggles the order
from oldest to newest/newest to oldest.

Quote character (>) can be changed in Tools> Options. I wouldn't do away
with it entirely as it serves a purpose that makes reading easier -
visually separating quoted material from new material.

yeh i had the same problem. try hiding the buttons behind something
that you have on top of all windows (if you do) like a media player
bar.

mine disappeared when i reinstalled windows. the keyboard and mouse
settings stayed with the pc even though i formatted the hard drive and
everything, but even though the icon files for the caps/num lock were
still in a system folder somewhere, they didnt appear on screen.

my mouse has a setting where it performs the function 'back' or
'refresh' when i scroll upwards in IE or folders, which is really
annoying and i can't seem to be able to change the setting...

Thanks for your response and sorry about your problem too (that would really
be annoying). I do click off the icon, it's just a pain and you'd think
there'd be an obvious setting that says don't show cap/num lock.
