Cant View Open Windows???

Hi,
When i commit any action on my PC now, the little "windows" that show up on
that little blue bar at the bottom dont appear and i have to use alt + tab to
do anything...

Is there a way to make them re-appear down the bottom on the little blue bar
like they always have before?
